What Tami is Thankful For – Thanksgiving 2015

2015 has been a pivotal year for Brand Yourself. We brought on a full-time team member. Grew our business and have been able to work on some really, really fun campaigns with clients. So, it feels right to start this list off with the fact that I am beyond grateful for a TEAM. Owning a business can be a bit lonely when you are running it by yourself which is where I have been for the last 5 years, but not anymore! I have someone to strategize, problem solve with, create and collaborate with. It’s amazing what that can do for the mind and spirit.

I have a pretty cool husband, too. He has always supported me – no questions asked. Cheering me on and listening to what travels in and out of my head (such as stories about what a sales funnel is).  I’m not quite sure what I would do without him and our kids. My heart is full.

There are so many things to be thankful for. I love being able to list them out as best I can. So, without further adieu –  I’m also eternally grateful for:

  • Quiet time
  • Being able to be the ‘memory keeper’ at home. (This is a name I have given myself so my family will actually smile for all of the photos I take of them!)
  • Books (Especially the ones that I can’t wait to sit down and devour!)
  • Coloring
  • My cleaning lady
  • Comfy pants
  • Flexibility
  • Creativity
  • Laughs
  • Twitter
  • Audible (I’ve been able to consume a lot more books this year because of this app!)
  • Beautiful websites
  • Good friends (Especially those really good ones that can keep you off the crazy train when life get’s overwhelming!)
  • Authenticity
  • Brene Brown (her new book, Rising Strong, is amazeballs.)
  • Being able to call my mom when I need her
  • Coffee
  • Cuddles from my babies
  • Giggles that warm your heart
  • A list that could go on-and-on-and-on

This is my very favorite blog post to write every year. It is an opportunity to reflect and practice gratitude. This year, the other half of my team, Katelyn wrote her own blog, too. This is a time for us to share a bit of ourselves with a company that we breathe life into everyday. It feels good and should not be taken as anything other than our personal views. Thank you for being apart of our day and we hope you take a minute to reflect on what you have to be grateful for this year, too.
