Facebook Insights Explained | Brand Yourself Consulting

Do you know when your fans are online? When the best time to post to your page is? What types of posts work best with your audience? Who is interacting and engaging with your page?

You can see all of this information within your Facebook Insights. All Facebook Administrators will have access to this information – it is located right in your Admin Panel directly above your Cover Photo:

Once you click to view your new Page Insights, you will automatically default to an overview of all of your posts – get more specific information by clicking on the ‘Posts’ tab. You can then see all of your posts, when your fans are online and best post types:

Based on the information posted below, we can see that videos and photos reach the most people and have the highest engagement. Links to articles are not as popular with this audience.

It is important when creating content to post to your Facebook page you start with a wide variety of posts. If this brand had only posted status updates they would have missed the mark on what their fans were looking for.

– Post often.
– Post a variety of different things – videos, photos, links and status updates.
– Post at different times of the day.
– Track your results.

 

Use the tools that Facebook provides to see what TIME is the best time to post and interact with your fans. You can even specify what DAYS that are better than others and WHO is interacting with your page. Keep track and check back often! Your results may change throughout the year.
